  1. Printer Set-up

1.1  Access data mode functions by pressing the Menu/Data button.

1.2  Enter the parameters for squeegee position, speed, delay, pressure, breakaway distance and speed, and carriage delay using the handheld keypad (NOTE: Enter must be pressed for the new input to be recognized).

1.3  Access print mode parameters by MENU/MODE button.

1.4  Enter the parameters for print modes, contact and non-contact printing, and recipe number (CAUTION: If you attempt to save a recipe to a number already in use, the system will overwrite the old recipe file with a new recipe).

1.5  Make sure the printer is in SETUP mode.

1.6  Place a substrate on the carriage.

1.7  After adjusting to desired condition, press VACUUM and STAGE LOCK to set the proper alignments.

1.8  Press the CYCLE START buttons simultaneous to move carriage into the print positions.

1.9  Lift the hood over the squeegee driver and head.  Using the handheld terminal, jog the [Z DN] until the stencil/screen almost touches the substrate.

1.10          Press the STAGE LOCK until the light until the light is off to adjust the stage in the x, y, and theta directions and align the stencil with the substrate.

1.11          Press the STAGE LOCK to lock the stage.

1.12          Set the Z position of the carriage

  1. Set squeegee parameters

2.1  Use the handheld terminal to jog the squeegee head so that it is centered above the substrate by pressing [SQ BAK] and [SQ FWD].

2.2  Turn the down stop knobs completely clockwise.

2.3  Press the [BkSq U/D] key to lower the back squeegee then turn the back down stop knob counter clockwise just until the red LED lights.  At this point the back squeegee should be just touching the substrate. (Make sure the squeegee is level to the board)

2.4  Repeat for the front squeegee.

2.5  Jog the squeegee to the desired back stop position by pressing the [SQ BAK] key.  The front squeegee should be about one-half inch behind the print image.  Press the [ENT BAK] key to save the back stop position for the back squeegee.

2.6  Jog the squeegee to the desired front stop position by pressing the [SQ FWD] key.  The back squeegee should be about one-half inch in front of the print image.  Press the [ENT FWD] key to save the front stop position for the front squeegee.

3.1  Press the ESC button to return to the main menu.

3.2  Press the    CYCLE START button simultaneously to return the carriage to the load position

3.3  Put material to be printer at the back edge of the print image

3.4  Close the cover and front door of the printer

3.5  Press the RUN button.
